Description
This basic recipe for roast chicken is a great for a Sunday dinner. The meat can be used in dishes throughout the week.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Wash the chicken.
Place the chicken breast-side up in a baking dish.
Roast chicken for 20 minutes at 425 degrees.Turn oven temperature down to 350 degrees and bake for 1 hour.
