Description
Hot and sour pork stir fry
Ingredients
2 T
olive oil 1 lb
pork tenderloin 2
bell peppers 1
broccoli crown 1⁄2 c
sliced jicima 1⁄2 c
peanuts 1⁄4 c
chicken broth 5 T
soy sauce 2 T
sugar 1 T
Worcestershire sauce 2 T
fresh ginger (grated) 1 T
corn starchInstructions
Notes
1) Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to a pan and cook on medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Transfer meat to a plate and wipe out the pan.
2) Add peppers and cook until tender. Add broccoli and 1/4 cup water. Cover and cook for a few minutes.
3) In a small bowl add chicken broth, soy sauce, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and corn starch. Stir until the corn starch dissolves. Mix in the fresh ginger. Pour the mixture into the pan and stir for a few minutes until the sauce thickens..
4) Add the sauce and then the pork until warmed through. Add the nuts and serve over rice.
